Upload a supplier CSV to Csvio

In this video, a supplier's price list becomes six Shopify products, with photos, prices and stock. Every import starts here, on Csvio's Import page. Drop in your supplier's file, just as they sent it. Csvio reads every row.

Choose Create and check the AI column mapping

Create adds new products. Bulk edit changes ones you have, and bulk delete removes them. These are new, so it's Create. Then the AI matches every column to a Shopify field. Stock code: the SKU. Description: the title. Details: the description. Brand: the vendor. Unit cost: what you pay. Retail: what customers pay. Quantity on hand: the stock. The barcode, and the weight. Image link: the photo. And keywords become tags. If a match is wrong, pick another field, or leave the column out. Category becomes a Shopify product category. All six matched Shopify's own wording, so there's nothing to check.

Draft defaults and the product preview

New products arrive as drafts, so customers don't see them until you publish. The preview shows every product exactly as Shopify will get it. Open a row to check its description, tags and photo, and each variant's SKU, price and stock.

Import to Shopify and read the report

Nothing reaches your store until you confirm. A file this size takes seconds. Big ones run in the background, so you can close the tab. The report shows exactly what happened: six products, saved as drafts. If a row ever fails, the report says why, and you can download those rows to fix them.

The new products in Shopify

Here they are in Shopify. Each one has its photo and description, its price and cost, stock, barcode and weight.

Find the import in History

Every import stays in History, with what it created. Try Csvio free, on your own supplier's file. The link's in the description.
