The PDF price list as it arrives

In this video, a supplier's PDF price list becomes Shopify products, with colors, prices and photos. Here's the price list as the supplier sent it: a letterhead, a table of products, and the terms underneath.

Upload the PDF; Csvio finds the product table

PDFs go in just like a CSV or an Excel file. Drop it in, and Csvio finds the product table. It found six rows and eight columns. The letterhead and the terms are left out. These products are new, so it's Create.

Map the PDF's columns to Shopify fields

The columns keep the PDF's own headers. Code is the SKU, and product the title. Color becomes the variant option. Trade is what you pay, and RRP what customers pay, without the dollar signs. Stock, the barcode, and the image link for each product's photo.

Colors as variants in the preview

The preview shows three products. The tea towel's three colors became one product, with a price and stock for each.

Import, report and the products in Shopify

Nothing reaches your store until you confirm. The report shows exactly what was created: three products, saved as drafts. Here's the tea towel in Shopify, with its three colors and their prices. Try Csvio free, on your own supplier's PDF. The link's in the description.
